The Honorable David Garman  
The Honorable David Garman—the former Under Secretary of Energy and former Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy—is an internationally known expert in clean energy technology. Since 2001, Garman has played a leading role in developing and implementing major Presidential initiatives, including FreedomCAR, the Hydrogen Fuel Initiative, and the Advanced Energy Initiative. In addition to these successful efforts, Garman was called upon to represent the United States Government at key international meetings and negotiations; and to testify before an unprecedented forty-seven Congressional hearings from 2001-2006. Prior to 2001, Garman honed his highly regarded political, administrative and legislative abilities in service to two United States Senators and two Senate Committees during a 21-year career on Capitol Hill.
